I was wondering if i had to have the SoF disc or Titanium disc in order to be able to play project 1999.. and if so is there a big difference between SoF and the titanium? I have the SoF disc, and dont want to spend the money on the titanium disc if they both work the same.. any advice/help would be greatly appricated =D

Titanium is the only client fully supported by this server.
SoF will work at least some what, but you'll likely encounter problems.

Buy it, truly. The online retailers regularly engage net transactions.

if you already own a valid license for all those expansions included in titanium i would just download it of a torrent ... unless you want fancy having the discs

If you own SoF, you own all the expansions included in Titanium, as it's an earlier compilation. The main difference with why it won't work properly is the client itself having been updated between the release of Titanium and SoF.
Telling you how to acquire Titanium, aside from purchasing it via retailer, is frowned upon here.

oh ok, im not trying to break rules, just trying to get this to work cause i left all my discs at home.. so would it be better to use all the old discs like eq classic and kunark and velious? cause i have individual discs, jus tnot titanium. or should i just have SoF shipped to me?

I don't think the older disc sets would work. The problem is with every expansion, SOE made changes to the game client and this server is set up to communicate with the client that was released with the Titanium collection.
If you want to play here, SoF is better than nothing, but does tend to have issues. I've not played here with anything other than Titanium, so I don't know how game-inhibiting those issues might be.

The beauty of Everquest is what is installed on your computer can be zipped up and moved anywhere and still work just fine (you may just need to tweak graphics settings)... so rather than paying to have your copy shipped to you, if it's installed at home, you could just have the files transferred to you through a VPN connection or any other file transfer option you might have available.

Why not download the client from rapidshare?
On search engines like http://www.rapidosearch.com you could search content hosted by RS.
Just an idea... I don't know if this would be "piracy" to download a client software which is not usable without having an account somewhere.

it is ... UNLESS you own a valid license for it already ... wich is having all the expansions bought and activated on live ...

ok, thanks. Then don't search for Titanium Everquest on such search engines and download it.
