Alchemy: Blood of the Wolf skill gain issue

Just started off on Alchemy using a guide and SoW pots (Blood of the Wolf) go to alchemy skill lvl 37. but i'm sitting at 30 skill lvl and i've gone through supplies to create 100 pots and not a single skill gain! This HAS to be a bug or something I would think. No one gets that unlucky...

Anyway i've talked to other alchemists in game and no one else can confirm or deny it. Maybe a GM can get in and test it out or something?

Would appreciate it. I've lost a ton of money doing this non-trivial potion 100 times trying for skill ups :(

At lvl 30 the max skill you can have is 30. Once you ding 32 you can get a trival skill to 40. Use the wiki and it states everything you need to know.

Shoot I just got back on to say i hear its lvl capped. Thanks for the confirmation

idk how to delete this thread or I would remove it so it's not taking up space on bugs
