Mage Agro spell

Hey guys, whats the most agro a mage can get on a mob? I want to try to kite something, does mage have ANY spells 1-60 that can pull agro like say, Flame Lick for a druid does, so you can have a pet bashing on something that is chasing you?

If not something as powerful as Flame Lick, any spell that pulls agro at all?

Resist debuffs are okay aggro, I suppose you could try spamming them?

I'm assuming you don't want to cast a high mana/damage nuke? That is aggro...

Resist debuff (even a low level one) + removing pet taunt mode should get you by although it's not the most efficient method of hunting.

I get your joke but its for a strat, you see if i have 1 epic pet and kite the entire SF island I can increase the rate at which I kill everything on that island as quickly as possible, Becuse whlie it fights 1 i can gather the entire island and then i can keep them all at same spot while they do not dps my pet and I will not have to lose 2.5 pets to an island and instead lose 0 ;)

Also killing seafuries this way will give me something to do and after you have killed about 1,000,000 of them you start to look for things like this to prevent you from blowing your brains out.

If I had to guess, it's because you're asking the community to help you farm a highly contested island in a way that will piss everyone else off.

Personally, I don't care. SF island is garbage and so is most of its population. Enjoy your "phat lewts."

I play on red, it is NOT and i repeate NOT A HIGHLY CONTESTED ISLAND

I can farm the isalnd, wait for boat, gate back, farm it again, and NOT see a single fucking person on it.

So I hope everyone takes a minuet to realize they are complete morans if they are not roleplaying that they are seafuires and calling me a jerk for killing their family.

There's another reason people might not like you. Most (not all) of that server tends to be akin to WoW players. :)

Mages really get nothing for quick easy agro. There might be some insta clickies you could experiment with for agro kiting

Are you saying spamming low level mal won't work or are you saying TL;DR:LOL?

Low level malo is 60 mana IIRC and since you want to aggro kite, you'll run out of mana quickly unless you have C.

I suppose the work around is to reclaim/resummons pets to clear their aggro, but OP was wanting to avoid wasting time/mana chaining pets so this basically puts him back to square one.

yeh, I can imagine there is no way to get ez agro as a mage, becuse if you could ppl woulda just kited xp all day long in classic.

How do you buy stuff on Red? I figured you'd just get log on ambushed and platted, seller or buyer. I suppose transactions need to happen next to a banker.
