Hey all,

just looking for some advice on hunting in WW as a druid.

I'm currently lvl 58, and looking to exp. Dubious to CoV... so a few questions:

1. Is it even worth killing in WW for exp at my lvl? I'd rather not perma bears.
2. I assume I'd charm, but is quadding an option?
3. If I bother to ally with CoV, will wolf form no longer get me KoS'ed with dragons?

And~ if anyone has hunting experience/tips, I'd appreciate them...

otherwise, i'll be dying in WW :)

thanks in advance~

I've done a fair amount of charm killing in WW at 57, mostly north of ToV near the nests. I wouldn't say the exp is great, as mobs are spread out a lot more than the bear pits, but it works decently enough when other places are camped or you just feel like being a horrible recluse.

I haven't tried quadding. The animals are mostly 49-52 so you could give it a shot with Fist of Karana.

Just watch out for ice burrowers. Those'll ruin your day if your attention lapses or they resist a snare and charm breaks and sow wears off all at the same time. ASK ME HOW I KNOW THIS.

Yes! I can run around in wolf form in CS without getting attacked by dragons. I was non-KoS in wolf form a long time ago (maybe around kindly) so you don't need to get ally to achieve this.

That's why god made jboots. Should really consider investing in a pair, even on a druid.

Mobs will have over 7k hp, so my guess is quadding won't be worth it, maybe not even possible without sitting for med ticks while kiting. Charming might not be the best/safest xp for all the reasons Bummey said, but I'd say that's the way to go.

Another non-Perma option is Sol B (probably better in a duo or small group). Charm a bat and do bugs/spiders/freeti area.

I laughed when I saw my friends druid had JBoots. Then my sow got dispelled and I was laughing no more... :D

everytime I click my druid's Jboots I am very thankful they were there to be clicked

basically, you are in trouble as a druid if jboots are something you are reaching for and usually its a matter of life and death

I would highly recommend scoring some, not a huge priority but definitely something that will get overlooked on bucket lists

You're not wrong.
