Got a 15 human paladin with full crusty and other cheap standard twink items.

For weapons I have a sword of skyfire, axe of lost souls, and recently someone gave me a baton of faith.

Now baton and axe are same ratio with axe having some ac and stats, but axe is worth more. Would I be better off selling axe and skyfire sword to pick up a ghoulbane or sword of morning?

Problem I have with using baton is aside from it I don't really see a reason to use 2hb with a pal, but I understand it's the best bang for buck while levelling.

Honestly I sorta planned on questing a soulfire asap for skill ups in 2hs anyways so brings me back to original question of should I bother with a ghoulbane or morning?

Ghoulbane not worth it imo.

Save your money, sell everything and go with the Baton. You can get a better 2hand slash later.

Sword of the Morning + shield can be ok, but most of the time just killing stuff faster is your best defense.

Would use the 1hander till you hit 20, then swap out to 2hander.

and ghoulbane is pretty over-rated imho unless you're in a group killing undead. 15-34 slow ratio ( yes will make it proc more ) but you'll prob end up killing the mob just as quick with a 2hander @ level 20.

DPS output is very low on paladins, its a pain, the axe and baton will carry you to 60 easy though, that 1hs will fade off hard post level 20. The Velks pally 1hs, MDS, Plane of Hate and raid 1hs are really the only relevant 1hs' in velly era.

+your hp/mana/wisdom over replacing those weapons would be my suggestion, Paladins can never have enough mana.
