Just recently found Everquest P99 servers on the pantheon forums and this guild does a perfect job of bringing back the nostalgia and classic grind this game intended!! On top of it all everyone is the guild is super helpful and friendly! Couldn’t be more pleased to be re starting my EQ experience with ALS!

I played on Tallon Zek back in the day as a raiding shaman (from launch for about 5-6 years), and just started last week on p99. All guilds recruit all classes; none are particularly selective in that regard. Although you should pick something you will enjoy, You should pick something that makes you either, a) self-sufficient or b) in demand.

Playing a cleric here was very good to me.

After reading through this thread, I'd love to be a part of Auld Lang Syne, I have a 29 Druid and 7 Warrior I am currently leveling up. Made the Druid for ports and because that's what I played back in the day lol. I made a Warrior yesterday because I have noticed a lack of tanks when I group up on my Druid, so I figured I'd add one more into the world.

The concept for you guild sounds intriguing. I played EQ back in the day and had just restarted on P1999 when my computer crashed. As I'm killing time on the forums until my computer is fixed i had a question about your guild to understand it better.

You mention the main reason was to avoid the over inflated prices on the economy on the server taking place in the EC Tunnels.

So I'm curious those prices for a HQ Bear Pelt is like 30pp, or Spiderling Silk Stacks 10pp.

As trade by guild members is within the guild only, what is the in guild trade value of those same items?

So I can understand how inflated the server prices are, after all it's been a long time since I played EQ.

I want to experience the game as it was intended, maybe in order to get a better feel for how MMOs have become. It's been a bit rough though since I'm only familiar with WoW.

I have a level 4 Paladin in Qeynos Hills that I've been very slowly grinding XP out on. being totally new it's certainly not what I'm used to from other MMORPGs :)

Did you end up joining up Nobleshield? Once you join many of us can guide you and help you with ideas on types of quests you can do, places to exp, or groups to join. Qeynos is one of the best places to start!

Greetings! We actually have touched on it, but honestly, not as deeply as we will come September(ish). You're right in the reasons why the Charter was set up the way it is, so we'll see about green.
