Has anyone confirmed sightings of either / both of these?

I have searched for the chunk of ice for a couple of hours on golra island, but they very, very, very rarely had loot, and what I found was not ice.

I have lots of stormguard root beer so I suppose I shall drink that to console myself as I search through my tradeskill records to see if root beer floats are even a thing at this point in time...

Can you remember if it was before Luclin?

I may have mistakenly remembered what exactly the item was that was ground spawn since there was a 'bag' that had some crushed gem too. Then on other side of island there was little dark thing (like the little rocks u find in Velious on ground type graphic) for the chunk of ice. Sadly, I also do not remember the time frame. I just remember running an iksar shaman to that Golra island and being able to find, said ice thing, as a ground spawn also.
Pardon my lack of memory for exact time frame, as it has been one long ride so far and I clearly do not have robotic memory skills when it comes to EQ, lol

Addition: Halara also did drop it on live too - that I remember.

It's not a ground spawn on p99. Only the crushed diamonds for a shaman spell quest are there.
