So this is a shameless plug for my livestream on the Blue99 server. I've played P99 for quite some time but it in spurts and due to real life issues I always, always stopped playing and moved on to something that was less time consuming. I'm now back on the game and playing a Paineel based Erudite Necromancer that will not be twinking at all. The idea is to give a new player the chance to watch gameplay and show them basic tips and things that help me in my leveling. Furthermore the chat as a whole are a bunch of good folks who offer advice from time to time.

The rules so far as we have done them are :

1. No gear which I don't buy with money I earn or find while adventuring.

2. No buffs to myself or my pet that aren't within a certain level limit. This stops me from getting OP level 60 buffs which otherwise dumb the game down for me at this level.

If at any time you as a new player would like to link up and group wherever I am at the time, feel free. I am always open to grouping with other players and helping them out as best i can! (Disclaimer: I level in and around Paineel, make sure you are not KoS to them before deciding to pay me a visit :p)

My stream schedule is 9pm EST and on except for specific days which I will mention in the stream because of days off. Otherwise the schedule will remain the same. See below for information on twitch and what not, and have fun :)

You should look up Auld Lang Syne. We're a guild that is based around the rule of obtaining your own gear. You can't buy it. YOu're not allowed to purchase anything from outside the guild that isn't trade resources (pelts, enchanted bars for jewelery etc) and we're currently limited to Classic only content. Kunark will be voted on probably around the end of October.

If you want to do things legitimately and earn them yourself, there's a lot of us with the same goals.

Good luck with your stream!

No offense to the OP but Necromancers can basically gain levels without gear so viewers won't be seeing anything new...

Good luck with the stream...

It's not meant to mix / max, it's not meant to show a challenge or speed run. It's not meant to do anything more then show people how the game is played, what the basics are and how to get into it. If it's not for you, then don't watch :)

IMO you should play him 'hardcore' so if he dies you delete him and you got to do it 'self found' as well. that'd be fun to watch.

That would be fun until like 20+ I imagine.

I'm just saying that playing a Necromancer is mainly casting spells and having your pet fight for you. It doesn't matter if you have gear or not until later level.

If you want to show people how to really play the game then use a tougher character that really has to get into combat like a Warrior or Rogue.
