Help for a noob

Alright, I've been playing for a while and this recently started happening:
while I'm running, I'll experience periods of extreme slowness, where everything having to do with me moving is in slow motion, and it is keeping me from kiting.
Anyone know why?

Sounds like a duel core bug, post your computer specs

open notepad insert this line:

start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme

Save as a batch file, example: Login P99.bat
toss it in your EQ folder > create shortcut to desktop > open and run game!
