The men and women who run the supposedly “nonpartisan” Commission on Presidential Debates have put their money where their mouths are — and it all has gone to Democrat Hillary Clinton.

The amount of money is small by the standards of a modern presidential campaign, but it is one-sided. A pair of Ph.D. candidates at Stanford University examined campaign finance reports and found that all of the $5,650 in contributions that commission members have made to presidential candidates during this election season have gone to Clinton.

Republican Donald Trump, who will meet Clinton in the first debate a week from Monday, received no donations from debate commission members.

I don't think it will matter in the end how much the debates favor Hillary because Trump has way too much ammunition. On any Topic, Trump can point to her terrible history, massive failures and alleged crimes. It will be a massacre.

That and there is about a 50% chance that she won't make it thru the debates without falling or coughing.

Well that's my point, they were rigged, absolutely. We all could see she had all the talking points down beforehand, knew what to expect, even the birther question tossed into the script. But in spite of all that, Trump still prevailed. If it had been a level playing field, it would have been a monster defeat for HRC. Too bad the world doesn't work like that though, because I don't want her monster defeat against the world to be my monster defeat :eek:

Our system is a bit of a joke. Each state counts its own ballots, and the electoral college can say fuck it and go against the ballots anyway.

The machines we use are banned in several first-world European countries. Its cringey stuff..

I think if voter fraud is an issue, as it is every election now, it will be in favor of Hillary. ala the DNC landslides against Bernie Sanders.

The only hope is that there are hundreds of independent exit pollsters that document (preferably with video recording) who is voting on election day. If enough of them can provide evidence that the outcomes different from that recorded evidence in exit polls, it might not be so easy this time around.

These days, we have so much technology at our disposal to hold other technology accountable.

Hopefully the rumor about Trump deploying heavy exit-poll personnel in the battleground states is true.

Remember the Sander's polls, (polling intra-party at the state-level is usually a pretty good indicator, or at least has some merit)

It would be about 55-65% Sanders across the board in every primary. The Convention comes back, every time the poll was completely inverted. 70% Clinton. Then we found it, yep, its exactly what it looked like. Fraud.

Still think that DNC staffer misspoke in an email, or knew something. People do get shot during a robbery, and there are random acts of violence. But the clothing he was wearing wasn't drawing any attention to himself and police admitted nothing was taken.

Unless his toxicology showed alcohol, that's definitely foul play imo. If he was drunk at night, its possible he told some gangsters to "fuck off" or failed to show proper respect. If he was clean, to me that's indicative of a hit. Especially since its all shots to the back. That's the same execution style they used in Russia on the journalists there, all shots to the back, nice and quick. No confrontation.

It casts a shadow over the whole DNC, especially in light of Julian Assange putting reward on the killer.

Well I'd feel so much better if we just all went back to the old system. Takes longer, involves an army of lawyers staring at hanging chaff, but harder to cheat compared to the potential of a hacked or back-door electronic voting machine. Of course, too late now :(

And it doesn't make me feel any better with the feds wanting to take over the election, not any UN observers either. All pretty friggen stupid. We've become too advanced a civilization to do anything too advanced.
