You have never been able to gif from a gallery image. Right click the gif, or mouse 3 click and open image in new tab, copy url, paste url with img tags, done.

Honestly PvE eventually gets stale, the game is very much about social interaction. PvP adds a layer of adventure to the game ! + you truly learn to appreciate the company of friends :)
