They are not assisting when they should be.
I was level 35 Iksar Necro... had CoB in place to check out my faction. A roaming Sabretooth Tiger started attacking me while in entrance to outpost. The tiger KILLED me since these 2 worthless guards couldn't kill a level 39 mob before it took 4 bubbles of health from me.

This is in reference to the two gargoyles, corundium and tourmaline.
Other outpost members should also attack mobs, such as the dragoons and captain rotgrime and his marines.
One of my favourites activities before i log is to pull with bow 1 mob like a tiger or a sarnak knight, and bring it for a little visit inside the outpost.
