i dont go to church because i don't need to prove my faith in Jesus to some fcking lying pastor scum and the community of ppl sucking at the teat of the Grand Illusion.

No not really, but I don't go to a Catholic church like you ;)
I've went to one (visited) with my friend when I was young, I remember his mother being terrified I might say or do something wrong >.>
Wasn't my thing. They even spoke in some dead language, but when they spoke in English it was something about working for salvation.

My other friend I went with to Greek Orthodox, was an excellent experience. They even spoke in English and acted pretty normal. They were big into grace and were warm to everyone.

Lots of different churches, so I guess experience varies.
