Cant Start EQ please help.

Hello.

Im getting the following error message when trying to run eqgame as a admin.
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.
I have tried to follow the guides on here to a 100%. Now im not sure what to do

Anyone Having a similiar issue? i have tried reinstalling the game to another folder and nothing still . Any Help is greatly appriciated.

Check your client.ini file and make sure the resolution isnt set higher than what you're monitor can handle. Manually change is to something like 800x600 if you are unsure and then change it back in game.

This may not be the issue but a lot of times can be.

Yes, in particular in eqclient.ini you'd be looking for these options and to set them to your screen's resolution (or you can leave them at 800x600 and adjust accordingly once in game)
