Cheap SK Starting Weapon

Could someone recommend a cheap but decent weapon that might be a common sale item in the EC tunnel for a new SK?

I am just getting started on this server so it'll take me a bit to make some pp before I can buy something, but I'd like to get a decent 2-hander and 1-hander to hone those skills while I level.

I'm figuring it won't take me forever to accumulate 50-100pp for each weapon, so was hoping for some advice so I can have a couple of goals to work towards.

I haven't played EQ in a long, long time, so any suggestions would be appreciated any feedback.

Deathbringers rod is about 200p.

Green jade Halberd is about 500p.

Mace of shadowed soul is about 800p.

Not really that much for 100p, maybe a sword of skyfire would be your best bet.

Don't you need magic tipped arrows for wisp? If so how would he ever afford that with no savings.

If the bow is magic (which is the case of Runed Oak Bow), any kind of arrow will hit wisps
