OPEN Chardok Royals Raid 8/19 @ 9pm EST

Hello Project 1999! :)

Our guild <Paradox> is hosting an OPEN Chardok Royals raid this Friday 8/19 @ 9pm EST.

All loot will be /ran 1000. Epic pieces from King/Queen/Prince/Herbalist will be class specific /ran 1000.

We admit, nobody from our guild knows how to lead this Chardok Royals raid. We need your help! As a result, we are looking for a solid, stable individual with a positive attitude to safely guide everyone. Please let us know if this sounds like you.

We expect a huge turnout for this event. It will be a lot of fun =) See you there!

Wish you guys luck on the raid. The main issue is that its like a 2 hour respawn for the royals. So if you are planning on doing more then 1 round of royals people will have to camp out or just sit there semi afk for an hour or 2 between spawns.

Well you are in for a treat. That is right in my time bracket.

I suggest you setup a discord server for this as communication is key.

Send a few people in FoH a tell. Lanneth and or Qani. I think they would be more than will to help break in.

I know I will be free just message any one of my toons that night as I will prolly forget and I will come hang out and help y'all get setup.

Thulak is right tho it's a 2hr roation, I would say to keep people interested you could pull more than just those 3 mobs.

Lots of other things drop but idk how far in stuff is and you will have to compete with the AE group for a bit til they leave or soemone stops them.

I didnt troll one bit, but I can if you like. I've been needing some new material for another rap roast anyhow.

I simply came in and talk about how dangerous the safe spot is if you have a bunch of pick-up players, how the loot tables of all of these mobs were almost exclusively epic pieces, especially since they arent wielding the droppables. My first message was actually an offer to help since ive been down there a zillion times, but you burnt that bridge.

Mizard, you may have missed this but my Sontalak Open Raid thread was a (hopefully gentle) tweak of this one as I feel Chardok is a very difficult target for an open raid. In Chardok you are only as strong as your weakest link: if you have scrubs getting claustrophobic in the tiny COH safe spot or peeking around the corner, or if you have inexperienced pullers who have trouble splitting, or if you let the sarnaks gate (and the King/Queen will Enrage while gating), or if you let them run, you will soon find yourself awash in Sarnaks and wipe quickly. Things are very dense down there and the respawn is fast.

Now if AG really does show up with 20ish, then all you have to do is not fuck it up, but even there I wouldn't be surprised if there were several CRs involved. I do wish you the best of luck, though, and after a few iterations you'll get the hang of it.

Just pull to the exit room. We farmed this quite extensively using typically only a warrior, cleric, shaman, necro, monk, and rarely a 6th. Pulling all 3 royals to the exit hallway and killing them.

No rogue is required to get down there and pull. No issues with people aggroing Mobs when invising through. No need to CotH latecomers. No cramped fighting areas, invis walls or false floors. Etc.

I say let them have their fun down there. I thought it was a lot of fun trying to 'raid' Korocust and wiping a few times back when I was still leveling up. If I wanted to kill him or royals now, it would be strictly for loot, and I'd want to just make it as easy as possible. But actually fighting down and doing it "as intended" is fun, if only once. Even 1-2 grouping royals down in the last hall way is fun, compared to the longer pull to the stairs. As long as someone going has a factioned toon, any CR will be extremely easy, should it come to that. And if there's an AoE group running, 80% of the way down will be clear most of the time.

We got off easy this time he didn't go full troll, for the next open server raid we might not be so lucky! The server will work on rebuilding the bridge =)

Tbh i just came in there to voice the same concerns Raev had and to point out that the "ALL LOOT WILL BE /RANDOM 1000" was a bit misleading since its ALL epic loot. No good deed goes unpunished, however. Dude told me that the word 'shit' was not allowed due to some 'no profanity policy'. I actually checked their rules out on their website and profanity is SPECIFICALLY allowed unless it offends their SJW leader. Now THAT shit right there is the real paradox, aint it?

He kept deleting my advice and input from the chat log and telling me i was being 'negative' and that I was unwelcome, so I removed my triggering ass from his safe space and logged, wishing him good luck even..
After I logged he banned AND blocked me. With Special Snowflakes like that its no wonder that they have 40 members but only actually 12... with a leader this petty, I would quit too.

Hey thanks man. I'll probably just do the crawl thing with them. Moving the factioned necro over just in case. Let them have fun and stuff first doing the dungeon diving thing.


But i don't know anything about their loot decisions. I didn't look at it closely. If it turns out everything is on the up and up tonight then sweet, I may help again in the future. If not, i won't. /shrug.
