how do I repair Storm Reapers faction? (Druid epic)

I'm a little halfling Druid (high 20s) and I have been lashing out against my halfling brethren killing their guards over and over again. I thought I was being rebellious and cute but I think I'm actually screwing myself over because storm reapers (Druid faction in rivervale) is needed to talk to Ella Foodcrafter for my epic eventually. Anyone have tips on how to repair this? Any tricks to be able to do the quest without needing faction?

Only way I know of is to kill lots and lots of Goblins. It's actually quite a bit harder after the Runnyeye revamp as well.
