I like to go to Wikipedia, click on one of the featured articles and then just follow interesting links through the database until I arrive at something uniquely inspiring and then take that to google to learn more ^^

You are bored and want entertainment but you do not want a Not Safe For Work site?
Your choices are cat videos or.. news?

maps.google.com
it can make you a map of places in the real world where you can go. you just type in one of your hobbies, then push the button that says directions.
i would advise using the public transportation tab for extra giggles.

Shit post on /pol/
Find a subreddit on Reddit you like - my guilty pleasure is guitar/pedals
Deadspin is utterly hilarious. Even the headlines to the articles. They have a great story with a "Seinfeld 9/11" script today.

i'll lurk in user sub on imgur sometimes. some weird/funny shit gets posted there late at night.
game-oldies.com is cool, has a lot of nes/snes/genesis/arcade etc games you can play.
i'll check out imdb.com too, can burn a good hour on there.
