I have been reading the June 27, 2001 patch notes and noticed something interesting that will effect porting classes such as druids and wizards. It seems that you won't have to be in a dungeon to be able to cast these spells.

This is great news as players and porter will not have to spend all that extra time having to run to a Kunark dungeon to evac to Emerald Jungle and Skyfire.

Here are the links for the patch notes:

** Gameplay Changes **

- Wind of the North, Wind of the South, Markar's Relocation and
Tishan's Relocation have had their additional restrictions removed, and
can now be cast from any zone where other similar spells can be cast.

What is interesting is that other changes from this patch have already been implemented such as the Circlet of Shadow nerf.

Hopefully these changes to these spells will be in the next P1999 patch. :)

This was supposed to be introduced in the previous patch, but at least it's been added to the list of upcoming changes in the next patch... six months from now, or whenever that may be.

We're going to love it in Dial, that's for sure.

Where can I find this list of upcoming changes?

I don't know if you can. Allakhazam probably has a history of EQ's patch notes, if you want to see the official changelog without P99-specific bug fixes and tweaks.

Here's the post where Nilbog replied to the bug post thread for these spells in particular. http://www.project1999.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2306767&postcount=8

I guess you could search Nilbog's post history for "fixed" "pending update" to see some of the upcoming bug fixes.
