I love everquest and the way r99 is right now but sometimes i pity myself, then i look at the forums and realize there is an even more hopeless crew of ppl plugging away at something even more hopeless and feel way better

This is what your 100 players look like. There is like 20 people grinding to reach 50 scattered in 150+ zones. 20-30 players grinding to reach 60. At least 10-20 boxed toons/mules. And then 20 people farming. 10 people on login screen all day (myself included).

forum rot happens when u try to derive some kind of entertainment from a dead community. voluntary sensory deprivation comes as you hold out hope, then the rot begins and u can go full Xaanka if u aren't careful.

guess ill finally pick up Ark so I can break the cycle of disappointment. New Vegas bored the fuck out of me even with runspeed hacks.
