I will look into red once I get acclimated. I just never played PvP on this game and would feel way behind the power curve.

I'll be honest. I've dabbled with the red server off and on and never made it past 20 from sheer boredom. Not only is there no population but everyone is top heavy. If you happen to see a low level there's a 75% chance it's a twinked player just waiting to farm your corpse. Lots of fun? They wonder why the server is dead...

The PvP forums are even filled with sarcastic douche bags who get hard on E-Peen responses. I wouldn't be surprised if I got a response from one of them on this thread...

The only reason I've considered red is because I don't typically have the time these days to level to 60 on Blue - so bonus xp helps and also because I love PvP. But EQ was made in 1999 as a PvE game. We play MMORPGs for the social aspect. You won't find that on red.
