So I want to level in Qeynos, I like the green there as well as Blackburrow.. However I am playing a Halfling Druid named Leonario.

I was trying to look at maps to figure out how I could run to Qeynos but it doesnt appear possible.

Could anyone please help me devise a plan of getting there?

What level are you at? It's not the easiest journey on foot at low levels. There is a lot of porta traffic through misty thicket, though.

You're best bet might be to get a port to karana and then a succour/evac inside west karana to take you to the qeynos hills zone line. Don't forget to bind affinity as soon as possible!

If you insist on walking, you can either go through Kithicor Forest/Highpass or Runny Eye/Gorge to get to East Karanas and make your way through the Karanas to Qeynos.

I am only level 1, i tried asking in /ooc for a port or anything but haven't heard any response.

I might try running then, thank you

your best bet is to keep playing in misty thicket between the circles and rivervale. Pester any vaguely druidic looking character you see with hail, if they stop ask them how they can help you get to qeynos hills.

The highest level ones will be able to let you skip out most of the karanas.

If you try running at level one stuff is gonna pretty much tear you apart.

If you do decide to travel to qeynos it may be worth banking most of your equipment/cash before you do. You don't want to die and lose your hard earned gold!

Exit Rivervale into Kithicor Forest and head west along the zone wall until you reach the Highpass Hold zone. You're going to need to use your racial sneak/hide to get through the zone because there are kos mobs, some luck, and a good map. You want to exit into East Karana, then run down the ramp, and once down the ramp you run pretty much straight until you reach the bridge to North Karana. Between the ramp and the bridge pretty much everything wants to kill you, so you might want to take it slow with sneak/hide unless you managed to get a SoW. Once in North Karana run along the water south until you reach the bend and continue west. You're going to pass a white bridge and wizard spires, the west Karana zone line is after that. Run along the water in West Karana for an eternity or two until you reach the Barbarian fishing village, then run North along the zone wall until you reach a valley and then follow that West until you zone into Qeynos Hills. From the zone line follow the road west past the guard tower until the road marker at the three way split in the road and take the south road to Qeynos. Find a bind and welcome to your new home.

The alternate route takes you from Misty Thicket through Gorge of King Xorbb and Runnyeye instead of Highpass Hold into East Karana. I'm not as familiar with that route so I used Highpass in my directions.

Hey guys thanks for all the info, I actually did make it to Qeynos, someone ported me to Western karana, and gave me SoW, so I just actually arrived.

I am looking for a Bind right now if anyone is near the city, can't seem to find anyone to bind me at the moment. Not going to do any combat until then, don't want to run again lol.

QEYNOS isn't the desired place to level. Do a who all Druid 60 and see if someone will come out and get you a bind. It's a quick 5 mins for them.

Ah really? I thought a lot of people would be running Blackburrow for Fangs

Some do. It's good about level 5 to 12, then at 12 hand in all your fangs.

For me qeynos is all about culling the rabid animals, the fun little newbie item quests and newbie loot you can find in the sewers. Fun little dungeon that one!

Qeynos area is killer for 1-19 at the very least. Tons of quests for plat and Exp especially for new players. Just from killing rabid animals and turning in lightstones, I had 600p by the time my ranger was 18.

Qeynos doesn't get the same kind of love as Freeport area just to the free buffs and 'traffic', but I always find the 5-9 grind around Freeport a pain in the butt. Qeynos area never leaves you with lack of targets from that range. If you include the Karanas, you're never at a loss for where to go until 36+

I was out there last night 1230am CST but I guess I missed you. So I pulled Bb 3 times for a newb and gave him gear at the bank. Hopefully you had fun and got ur bind.

For specific zone maps check out their pages on the wiki but this will help you with a high level view of the journey. Best of luck adventurer!

It really does seem like Qeynos was the only city that was almost fully developed. There is so much going on between NPCs talking, all the quests to make money, and the availability of items.

compare to Oggok, where its just spooky wind sound and holes in the ground, or Kelethin, without anything going on, just static elves.

Whenever I am in Qeynos it really makes me a little sad no other cities have that flair. or a flying saucer

Maybe it's just me, but it'd be safer to port to toxx, and wait for the boat.

That's cause QEYNOS was the first city designed, so it was toyed with the most. Plus housing humans so it had to have a lot of guilds.
