Three years ago, innovator and entrepreneur Lorenzo Maggiore blasted ahead of advanced projects like Intellectual Venture's Photonic Fence with new technology aimed at offering home and business owners more affordable means of securing their health and livelihood from intrusion. The response was humbling and Mr. Maggiore was forced to suspend sales shortly after launch due to excessive demand. Sales have of course since resumed and continue to do well.
Despite its popularity though Bioengineer Michael Dickinson of CIT has expressed skepticism with regards to the efficacy of Maggiore's a-salt weapon, claiming it lacks the firepower to sufficiently incapacitate aggressors. Mr. Maggiore and his customers disagree and have responded with Footage demonstrating the lethality of Mr. Maggiore's synthetic firearm.
