Rubberneck also refused to learn PvP or prepare his character for PvP. He was rootable until raid gear accidentally lifted his MR to vaguely acceptable levels. I actually almost killed him on my cleric while he was geared. If I had just had the presence of mind to dispell his HoT off himself, I would have YT'd him. Every time someone attacked him, he would OOC that they were now on his no-rez list. His anti-PvP OOC messages rustled me so much I eventually put him on ignore.

Also, about these people with 0-5 kills and dozens of deaths...I think some people play the game for different reasons. Some players have told me all they want to do is help other players, or raid and get gear. They're not even trying to gain leaderboard points or maintain a good PvP record. I do wonder why they play here, but it's their choice.

To denigrate these players is to compare apples to oranges. They're not even trying to be a PvP apple...they're just a big blue orange. Fine, don't invite them to your elite PvP club...which they probably don't want to be in anyway. It's not that they're so bad at the game...they're playing an entirely different game from what we're playing.
