while leveling some noob iksars with a couple of buddies, a halfling druid offers us some group buffs. after accepting he ports us to NK where we're KoS. while this is just an extreme grief, he goes on to call us "fucking queers" and various tells of "faggot" and such. then i get a tell of "watch this" and my system crashes. not EQ, but my system. is this sort of thing tolerated on red? is this normal? it's unfortunate. i petition in game and get no response.

druid was halfing named Gingerr

while attempting to upload a SS I discovered I either didn't hit the correct command for SS or it wasn't saved due to system failure.

i know i'm not the only one on here petitioning currently, so hopefully this just adds to the case.

Druids are out of control on this server! I got griefed in the same way on my young Warrior of Innoruukk (got mistaken for an enemy of Thunderdome because some of the letters in my name were the same).

Since I was out of PVP range I decided the reddest thing I could do was not petition, but to put out a bounty on the druid's head.

My advice, is if you do take a ride, bank all your gear first if there is a bank near your chosen destination. You don't want a corpse full of your best gear in an inaccessible location.

Used to have a banked gear set for crs. Now we just log alts and clear in for rez. Or drag with alt rogues. Fond memories of adventuring naked my first time in zones on live.

I remember having a Bertox human shadow knight on Sullon Zek. Never got such a high level, would generally only play it if I was too ill for school. He lived in the warrens, never played him enough to get past level 15, but it seemed high levels would constantly patrol empty Odus looking for newbs to kill.

Oh no one ever did that. Just zoned into Warrens, killed Sleaze and logged off. Saying reroll or quit server is pretty lame anyway, kinda breaking character. Should have fluffed it up a bit for more norrathian immersion!

I am torn between laughing and feeling sorry for you in the port to NK. I love the risk on red as much as I recoil at using Pve mechanics to kill rather than skill.

The only reason I am posting though is in regards to the system crash. There are laws about this nowadays. If true you should forward to proper authorities and this guy could end up in jail forget about what P99 staff can do.
