Solo class with the most downtime?

For my first character I am looking for a class to solo that would give me a lot of breaks to doodle, even if they were pretty short. I remember a lot of downtime from when I played originally, but I was also 14 so everything seems like it took forever.

Wizard, probably? When quadding you have a short burst of intense concentration/mana expenditure. Then a long afk to regen to full.

Necro, for feign death AFK. Hit the deck any time inspiration strikes and never get murdered by roamers (unless you're hit with an AE)! Plus you can solo in more places than a wizard or a druid.

Just don't go AFK with Lich on and you should be good.

Once a warrior gets to a stage where it can no longer kill xp mobs when he starts with 50% hp things slow down quite a bit :p.

You can smash undead with a cleric pretty fast then med a long time. Can pace yourself at other times, still effective. Then get groups when you want, no prob. Soloing clerics can be entertaining. But any priest will do.

I vote druid. You can do the same strategy as a wizard (quadding) but you don't need out of class help in order to increase your run speed. Plus, you will have a lot more options whenever you don't feel like quadding. Wizards are basically one trick ponies.

+1 for wizard chores. It is my go to. I play shaman or necro and I can't get anything done....the classes are so busy.

Plus you get to kill 4 mobs at once. SOW potions are 60pp I'd you make them....each quad of spectres drops nearly that much...gotta get them.

Wizard - Has the most time between kills if that's what you're looking, but super boring class on Raids/Groups. You get ports and TL's tho!

Necro - Can solo from 1-60 basically naked without much issue. Not a lot of downtime when soloing because you always have mana to pull more. I love soloing on my necro, but like Sorn said earlier don't go afk with lich on unless you go Iksar (Best race for Necro Btw)

Shaman - Real fun class to solo on, but when you aren't fighting a mob you are usually canning to get mana back. I guess you could just med and wait for mana if you have something you need to do.

I think wizard is going to be your best bet if long AFK's are what you mostly want. I soloed my from 1-56 quadding then medding for 8-10 minutes and starting over again. The best race for this is going to be Dark Elf, so you can do your quad then use the innate Hide Dark Elves get. Necro is nice IMO because you can just FD whenever needed, but when doing that you will have to kill your pet 90% of the time so spawns/pathers don't aggro him possibly causing issues if that mob is a caster with an AoE.

The description of your post hands down indicates a wizard.

Necros at some point don't ever really have downtime and warriors are just nearly completely ineffective at soloing in higher levels. If you a play a warrior, fungi or not, you will eventually hit a point where your rate of leveling while solo is abysmal.
