Exquisite Velium Spear with an outstanding 12 dmg and 20 delay
Scimitar of the Emerald Dawn with a High 20 dmg and 34 delay
which wins on DPS with max haste, 255 str, 255 dex as an OFFHAND wep paired with rogue Epic on main hand. lets say at level 60

which is the better offhand?

I wanna say scimitar but i dont have any facts to back this up

My logic is the higher dmg ends up paying off since secondary wep gets no bonus thus it doesnt benefit from low delay as much as a primary wep

Dex affects your hit rate.

A simple test will show you the truth.

Max out your dex and attack a mob, then click your buffs and swap off your dex gear and attack it again. I guarantee you will miss far more with the lowered dex.

With 150% haste.....
Spear is 1.5
Sword is 1.47

Even with 200% haste, the spear is still better....

Plus you hit more with piercing than others, as a rogue.

Pve dex has no bearing on hit rate. Jeff plays red and I believe the code is fubar and dex>opponents agi greatly affects hit rates in pvp...or something
