But in all seriousness... the Fungi for pre-nerf Circlet of Shadow is ridiculous. I've seen people do some crazy shit with Elder Beads, so I'm not certain how necessary they may be to a poopsocker grabbing FTE. Perhaps they justify the cost if it earns them DKP and/or BiS items.

Elder beads are 100% worthless on any class but a monk. Necromancer can life tap eye only when they have no pet up, so I guess there is some weird scenario after a wipe where it has minimal use. Bead market will come crashing back down to reality very soon because they do not provide more benefit than Fungi/CoF

The eye itself is a sh!t pull technique - it being coupled with Fiegn Death is what makes it powerful. Pulling Halls of testing for instance is trivialized with Elder Beads and a near death sentence without. Pulling caster mobs with the eye is also fantastic. Basically its used for pulling and nothing else, and it isn't even that great - it has a handful of uses

Fungi for CoS - while sounding stupid because of 5 years of Kunark - is actually a fair trade in terms of functionality. There are a retarded amount of both items on this server...If you pay more than 15k for a CoS you are going to regret it...even at 15k you may regret it

You can easily find one for 10k, a few guildies got theirs for 8 and 9k respectively. The sheer amount of them on this server really killed whatever "unattainable" value it had on live. Took me 3 weeks to get rid of mine for 10k.

In short, tons of people selling it, very very few buyers.

If pulls are easy then sure,eye's not that great. But for tough pulls it's amazing. You'd need a bunch of pullers or tl pulls or something i guess to do hot without em, and for taking hts or repositioning mobs it's awesome. You can also do stuff like bind wound while pulling which helps minimize downtime, or train mobs away while fd to sneak by tough places.

Plus being able to hammer off it is great.

Second, why do people who play on Red continue to waste their time trying to convincing us why Red is better? Nobody cares honestly. Everybody sees the population at 40 at al times. The majority of people probably started on blue in the first place because they have no intrest in Everquest PvP

It strikes me that the seller of any wares should be free to decide their own price, regardless of the market rate. Should their product not sell, it is to their own detriment, and not yours. You should feel free to dissociate from anyone that is asking for more platinum than you are willing to provide.

I find the beads fantastic on my necro when I solo (which is all I do on my nec hehe)! I like to charm solo in dungeons a lot and as lich is allways on I now and then find it very handy to pop a eye b4 a new pull if my health gotten low during the one b4. Allso After a res I can recover much faster as I can turn lich on as soon as I have mana for a leach on the eye.
Havent tried pulling with it (yet) but guess same goes for a solo necro that wants to split a tough room/pull as when a monk uses it?

Many times when i see an item over priced i kindly give them an offer and say to send me a tell if they are willing to sell at my price. Many times ill get a tell later that day or the next, haggling but eventually we settle on a decent price. They over shoot because if someone really wants thst item for a twink or some reason they will pay.
