Just a (sorta) quick introduction... I started playing EQ in early 2001 and was just really getting into the game when the Firiona Vie (roleplaying) server opened. I committed fully to that server at launch (in Oct. 2001) and played there for three fairly solid years until the launch of EQ2. I loved the FV server in the early days - it was everything that I thought an MMORPG should be - but I got frustrated as ruleset changes, Luclin, PoP and LDoN slowly eroded the experience.
I guess I've been feeling a bit nostalgic, but I'd like to think that I'm coming to P1999 with realistic expectations. I'll probably roleplay when I first meet people in-game, but I know that it's not for everyone... I'll happily continue if people respond in kind.
I enjoy the challenge of playing unique/rare race/class/diety combinations, so if you want to hang out, look for Chenedra - lady knight of Quellious.
