half elf, all agi for extra ac ( it matters a lot) or charisma. 2 in dex for 2 times as many procs.

Please go all dex. This will increase your PvP hit rate and thus PvP DPS. Str is easily capped with gear and buffs. Dex is harder. You will hit harder than other classes merely because you are a rogue.

On Red, some generally gear for resists and depend on buffs for stats (until you get gear that has both is available).

Without doing an actual count, a lot of the most successful rogues on the server are Dwarves. Deluxee, Reebz, Roberto, Fandango, Lifealert, probably more. The next highest group will be Barbarians like Gream, Revy, Salt, and I think Chuckslaw? Or is he Race: Skeleton? Outliers: Ragnaros the Wood Elf, Jewc the Gnome.

The one thing all of these rogues have in common is playing 10 hours a day for at least a portion of their life. But clearly you can't go wrong with Dwarf.

In basic velious halls of testing gear you will be at 255 strength unbuffed regardless of race, so if you plan on investing time and end game gearing your toon, any race is fine, but go all stamina to min max your health gains.

If i remade me rogue today, I'd put all starting points into stamina, and choose some sort of Elf for the hitbox.

Gnome is terribly useful for looking through the walls unless you have good reasons to believe you're getting a gnome mask.

Other than that, fashion quest all the way imo.

Barb/Dwarf go full 25 dex/5 sta or whatever it is
Elves/short all str or sta ur pref, raw hp really nice but str is nice too.

Depends on how you wanna approach the endgame.

back in the day it was str all the way, barb with str. that was for luclin time im sure about that so. i guess is the best way to go to get maxed in all melee. maybe velious is different

anyway i recall from the time ive spent on this box that melee stats work diferent than back on live. my iksar warrior with full agi really got missed a lot wich didnt happen like that back in '00


STA is only usefull for staying alive during aoes wich can be done anyway without going full STA. but im a noob on this game dont trust me. Manna robe is awesome and jbb is shit acording to me and 80% of this box disagreed even if i posted up numbers

Str is good if you have crap gear, Stamina is good if you plan on raiding and want to min/max.

It's useful in limited situations.

If someone's gating and i have no way to stop it and he's not close to dying I'll try a slam. Might get lucky yknow. Usually freaks people out too and they panic
