Goblin Gazhugi Ring.... how hard is it to get?

Have a 33 enchanter and very interested in getting my hands on this item. Is it possible/feasible to farm one casually? If so, any tips?

The camp is pretty easy. At level 33 you should have no problem holding down one spawn. Getting the couirer to spawn is not the issue. The issue is the drop rate of the Ring which is really really really really rare. On my 34 necromancer I've been able to Camp three rings. Averaging a ring every 15 - 30 couriers. Just isolate one of the courier phs, and stick to one spawn. There is a s pawn near ruins with two phs very close. My advice, camp the ring, don't let the ring camp you.

^^^ also note the spawn time on the PH/courier is like 1min, compared to most outdoor spawns which are just under 7min.

2 ph pops right near eachother with 30 second repops, i just did 12 couriers in 2 hours and got 0 rings

I camped it for 1 week straight, logging 8-16 hour shifts every day. I had a total of idk fuckn like 8+ bags full of shitty rings.

I figure you get 2 coiers every 20 minuets every hour you'll get the rare drop ring (shitty +5 mana ring) and youll get the ultra rare every 9,000,000,000 hours.

When i frst started on the server a couple years ago, I got my ring in like 40 mins. So who knows, you may get lucky.

I would never camp that ring again ever though.

Also I did it with a mage, so it couldn't possibly be easier (this is the 2 spawn camp everyone knows about) I literally pressed 2 buttons on a remote while I watched TV super high.

And even thogh it was that easy, i still wanted to blow my brains out.

Looks like I deleted the SS.. was cleaning up my imgur the other week and I remember being like FUK THAT PICTURE IN PARTICULAR.. so all I have is this one, but I just stood there and pressed q/a/q/a/q/a over and over on a remote pad.

The random number generator can be a dream or a nightmare. Unless you want to get the satisfaction of looting it for yourself, farming the 6k or whatever it goes for will likely be faster.

Yea I went the camp wanting the satisfaction, cus I love that shit.

But fuck that was a stupid idea. This one really is Ultra Rare, expect to put 8-24hrs at the camp if you are going to actually fight RNG to get one. Maybe you'll get lucky and get one before 8.. maybe you'll get unlucky and get one 24 hours after 24.

I whole hardheartedly believe that luck here is less than 8 bad luck is more than 24.

I camped it for less than 6 hours and got it. I'm a rogue but had help from a friend or two to keep watch on the second ph at the double spawn camp near the ruins. However, I helped my friend try to get his the next night and he was there for 12 hours+ and didn't see it drop.

Camp is easy.

Getting the ring is beyond tedious.

I camped it for maybe a total of 20 hours spread out over a few sessions without luck - then I gave up and realized it wasn't worth the time investment.

Yeah I camped it on my rogue also and got it fairly easily. 13th spawn or so. Which was pretty fortunate honestly.

I got mine in 9 hoursish. I'm convinced its a 2% drop rate, but maybe it is 1%. So, at 6 couriers per hour (using 2 spawn points), it's an average 8.3 hr camp. If it's 1%, it's a 16hr camp.

Do not do one spawn point if you like your sanity. You can't really afk camp it anyways. Level up so you can do 2. There is another 2 spawn camp SE of the main camp. It's at about 1000, -3000, near the hill marking the zone edge and a hill that juts out into the zone. You can also get 3 spawns here, but that was too fast for me.

8-10 hours feels right to me. There are plenty of people getting them in less and the horror stories of 16+. If you can find a 500p+ per hr camp, I would buy it. Just realize, you may never get it camping it. That 2% chance may never hit before you loose your mind (see above).

Ya, this camp is the epitome if classic. OP should do it and feel the pain, followed by pure joy. Killing mobs every 15 seconds, no matter how weak, for 8 hours, this is the most annoying camp in the game.

It's definitely a 1% 16hr camp, +/- 16 hours so up to 32 and then throw on 8+ more hours if you're me.

I feel 1:30 is rather lucky, especially for three!

I've killed well over 100 couriers and not had one GGR drop.

That said, it is an easy camp. You can kill many, many couriers easily. It's not about killing the courier, that part is easy, the tricky bit is killing a courier with the ring you want!

Wow. Looks like I'll just farm and try to buy one eventually. Real life makes the 8+ hours camping a bit unrealistic for me haha. This is my first char, so it'll take awhile, but it gives me an eventual goal. Thanks for the discussion everyone.
