i wasn't gonna have him thinking he could goad and try to own me unanswered when i made a promise on day 1 that if he got out of line he'd get the axe (of which all of you agreed to). because 12 months had passed... you thought that would change, like i'd forget? no. he was barely a member to begin with, and a shit one at that. i just didn't expect you to side with him when he was already (perpetually) walking on eggshells.

the decision to leave empire was an emotionless response. it wasn't me trying to force a "me or him" situation onto the officer's. Retti/ Tity being kicked for dipshittery was one of my stipulations when we started holocaust. i said he was gone if he fucked up. he fucked up. he wasn't gone, so i was (figuratively and literally). i wouldn't have come back even if you booted him. that's just doing what i say i'll do. i'm direct. if i say something, i mean it.

it's just principle, nothing more, nothing less. much how you like to paint what happened in definitive black and white, leaving the guild for me was black and white. detailing how you guys were worms about it wasn't an emotionless response, but that kind of thing never is when it's about pals who i genuinely think did the wrong thing.

If it was up to me I would have never let jupe/agatha into empire but thankfully it wasnt up to me and empire leadership saw potentional.

Jupe was a great guild member and trust worthy something I would never have said before empire. Agatha didnt raid much in empire but was usually always willing to help people in group stuff, epic, ports.

You were for DKP in another thread but I think a lot of Empires success was not allowing anyone that wasn't an officer to have any power. You don't have to worry about micro managing if you have a system set up to where you don't have to rely or trust people outside the inner core. Empire officers were actually more fair than they needed to be with loot distribution. The best and worst loot system for a guild is loot council.

DKP is best for people who don't trust their leaders and it also enables people to act like retards because performance or getting along doesn't matter. With this community I think DKP will always allow bergers to flare up. It is a Good Guys mentality where everyone comes together and splits loot evenly versus a well oiled machine where everyone follows a select group that knows how to get stuff done.

Loot council demands respect and loyalty with no effort. The only ones who can screw it up is the leadership. You only need a couple people to be cool headed and able to get along.

Tala I think you are confusing spying, with people actually frustrated and upset relaying info and screenshots back to me or him, probably even others. People were leaking info while I was in tempest, no surprise it still happens. I get /tell's frequently during raids about whats going on or when someone made a wipe mistake or pulls were dragged out then tank dies instantly after an hour of waiting etc etc.

I don't have to seek people out, I still have friends in Tempest. It is a small server...Always will be.

Good post, even when they buffed the fuck out of vymme (600k hp days) and we were wiping/horrible CRs, there wasn't anyone even crying about it in open channels. Raiding is boring as hell for most of us, but fucking around/attacking ppl, creating dwarf congo lines and not getting bitched at for it def helped. Couldn't imagine being in a guild where they boot their top DPS for a manna robe and... spying? lol.

First of all, Don't even know you aside from the fact my brother killed you on my rogue back in TMO. But glad you came back from blue or retirement to ride the red pixel train once tempest was uncontested. Also, You don't even know me well enough to judge. Anyway, soon as the golem died I clicked another persons AoN I had for the last 20 mins or so. I instantly said in teamspeak no aon dropped, iirc it was a bloodfire and some other crap weapon. I sent sharknado a tell right away saying nothing dropped(i say nothing, because no one cares about bloodfires and shit) since the corpse was cleared instantly the guild was being told an aon dropped BY OTHER CERTAIN PEOPLE. because I was in skeleton form and re clicked an aon thus the pvp attacks started and ninja loot was claimed.

Everyone in the guild knew I liked to troll occasionally but I never NOT linked loot on tov/kael/dain kills etc. So the fact I always linked real drops and never bullshitted on raids, then go and do one on a golem that drops junk asides from an aon and possibly darkwood trunk(newmembers WR bags). I didn't go OH AN AON DROPPED and link one.

The end result of an aon dropped and I was claiming one didn't while in skeleton came up almost right away by the people who didn't like me from past <nihilum> and <friends> when I joined empire basically. That fed a frenzy about ninja looting, then how I ninja looted banks and banks of spells in old guilds, cloak of flames, BP's off trak. Tabula rasa at its best. Capown @Dangle, Mirkuls, Brobbe, Ogrok, and whoever else that wizard was I don't care to remember. More then them, but those were the only ones to attack me within ~30 seconds of golem dying talking about me ninja looting in the past guild.

Some are just pure burned out and don't want to play, others are just now coming back. Some play casually to pvp once or twice a week and then disappear again.

afaik some real attempt was made by some well geared empire to join Tempest, but they were outright denied(should remove tabula rasa from recruitment thread) and I think one was even killed after showing up to their raid, invited. Some pretty good butthurt going on there for that much hatred. Going to guess Cyren denied most of them, and a few others that died to pvp and hold grudges(yet we play on a blue pvp server and certain people hold grudges and get mad as fukt when they get killed and outright say no because of that)
