Maybe your guild should consider encouraging people to level up. It seems like that would be a good idea. You could also considering recruiting level 60's instead of trying to act like you have the freedom to be selective.

It is enough to justify dispelling, bashing, and otherwise interfering because that 20% of the raid should PvP you and prevent such interference. Carry on.

Let me give a less snarky reply.

We should raid 3-4 nights a week and spend the rest of the time helping the whole guild level up, get basic gear like clickies, and learn basic PvP. It will be more fun and we will be harder to disrupt. I have proposed this to officers and I hope they take it into consideration.

Colhate used to do this on Shlurp and was never suspended for it because he was always in range to at least one character on the raid. My solution would be to camp out any characters that are below level 60. If we do not have enough level 60 characters to do a raid, then we need to focus more on exp. You get the same amount of loot from four hours of exp as you do from four hours of wiping.

After trying to fight the big guild, I'm finally in a guild that has access to merbs. I have no moral qualm about killing them as long as we're not smothering some other group trying to compete. Going to stick around, try some Velious raiding, and hopefully see some newer players get 60, get geared, pvp.

Got dayum, it's good to see an AoN on one of my oldest pals. Tala has always been my favorite person on the box. Not just because he's a nice guy, but because he cares about the server and he cares about other people having fun as well as himself.

Unlike most of the people on this box, Tala doesn't become bitter based on some offhanded comment made by a basement dweller in ooc, he laughs it off and moves on with his life. He realizes that what some drug addict on the internet says about him is not important in the slightest.

A lot of people here could learn a lot from Tala, and I am personally quite glad that he received such a sought-after item. Tala has worked hard to get where he is, and has had fun the whole time.

Every time I see this, "grats Tala AoN" troll, I literally laugh out loud. The guy deserves it more than anyone else here.

best pvp in everquest is like 20 v 20, which is a rare number to get in game

we usually see 10 v 70, or 40 v 90, something retarded like that, raid harassment is more like a job, not really that fun


So you are correct, if everyone wanted pvp, they would guild cap at like 40 people, and who gives a shit if every pixel is being farmed 24/7 lol. The more medium sized crews on server, the funner everquest is.

I dunno I remember having 50 vs 50's and then my side not logging in again quite often usually after some losses, it has happened with Holo, Azrael, Red Dawn, probably more. It usually snowballs into losing members to the better guild.

red may not be exactly like SZ but it certainly adopted its toxicity among the inhabitants

if you think 50v50 or more isn't fun, you didn't ever engage in one of those fights on SZ (which isn't surprising, considering how you play)

right before they changed their minds (sometime during that month off from raiding), empire (gongshow) posted something about bluebies coming to red to rise up against empire

There was a good thread about this very question (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=241802). In my opinion, the server is 70% blue-playstyle (pixels first) and the rest value PvP score so much that they also prioritize pixels for safety, but don't risk PvP losses, and are satisfied picking off the fringes of the herd without really stopping raids. They just farmed smaller targets while <Emp> raided everything.

Someone needs to find the Sektors cleric video of him in Sky. He runs around and tries to melee a couple people, nukes someone but obviously it was resisted, doesn't get any heals off within a couple minutes. He then jumps off the island after someone gets him to 80% with almost full mana and 2 DAs left. This is after him playing for a couple years. There is no way he is going to play the character himself, he knows he is really bad.
