Low level armor quests

I remember when I first started playing EQ back in 2001 there were quests that you could get starting at level 5 from your class guild master that rewarded you low level class armor. Are these quests part of the p1999 server? Thanks for any insights into my question.

Those came out quite a while after Velious so I don't think we will be seeing them here

Pretty sure those were released with Legacy of Ykesha. They never will be seen on p1999.

There are some low level armor quests in the game, for example the curscale iksar armor. I think there are other leather armor quests for other starting areas, not class specific though.
