This topic is about talking about Captain America. Tell me what you guys thought about it. Personally I feel like Ant-Man stole the whole movie even more than Spider-Man. Black panther was really cool. Looking forward to seeing the New Black Panther movie and hopefully Spider-Man movie. Who was your favorite superhero in the movie and did you think that's superhero stole the show?

ant man and spiderman turned the best action scene of the movie into not an action scene because their characters were nonstop comedy 1 liners
thought the movie overall was good but would have been better if those characters weren't included at all or were done in a more serious tone

Kinda agree with Colgate. Civil war is a good movie, but I still thought Guardians of the Galaxy was better.

I agree with spiderman blabbing the whole time. I just love Paul Rudd and him turning huge was great. Also Iron Man waiting for someone on his side to do something extraordinary after Ant Man turned huge and was fighting his whole side was great.

Spiderman is a kid... Him babbling all the time was true to the comics and his character. This was by far the best Spiderman that's been on screen.

yea i can agree with it being the best one, just think it took away from the fight scene he was in by a lot

Agreed with this and Terp makes a solid point also.
Robert Downey Jr was great too, he's such a great Ironman and he really makes these movies so much better.

bad without spoilers
i thought the new spiderman unmasked looked like a fag. aunt may looked like a whore.
the plot was kinda dumb, especially the person behind it all (not sure that will make any sense but I dont want to spoil)
the reason for the ending fight was retarded imo considering what is known at that point.
i thought we were gonna see a huge fuckin battle with everyone vs those frozen guys
the good
black panther was actually cool, i thought it he was gonna be retarded in this movie but i was wrong.
spiderman was actually awesome in the fight.
fight scenes were good.
overall i think the comic did it better but worth the 20 bucks to watch.

Its funny I was watching Downey's very early movies because they were on TV, and he was nothing special. I'd go so far as to say garbage.
IDK how he got a break, but I'm glad he did. He killed the first 2-3 Iron Man roles.

Ant Man's own movie was terrible. I watched it while on a flight and wasn't impressed. I hope this is better or I'll be writing an essay about it on IMDB.

I have to say the best character was the Russian guy who family got killed by those vigilante bastards the avengers. I have to also say that the scrum at the airport was nothing more than a skrimish between 10 marvel characters. Disney needs to hurry up and buy the x-men and make $400 million dollar movies that generate 70billion dollars already.
Tony stank was the best part of the movie.

I really liked their characters, but I do agree. It was a pretty serious movie all around and when they were both introduced in that fight I found myself wondering why it had suddenly turned into a comedy.

And Ant-Man too. It is just weird how it changed the entire tone of the movie.

Ye it was weird but more that they felt forced into it. I mean Spiderman played a big part in the comic civil war but it was a lot different. He was a more mature spiderman during those events whereas this threw kid spiderman right into a serious situation. Oh well, I still liked the movie. Too bad they couldnt make it a multi parter because the comic version was so much better. Comic version also had a darker ending with Captain America turning himself in and going to jail or some shit.
I guess they really want to get to the infinity gauntlet which I am not sure how the fuck they are going to do. So much shit ties into that saga, I don't see how they are going to do it in two movies.

Wait is it better than Bman vs Sman? Or is it just apples to oranges to compare them?

Saw this last night....was better than I thought. Despite having seen Ant Man I had to have a pal tell me when he appeared in the van who it was... could have been Daredevil or something, they all look the same.
Was there any reason as to why Spiderman was about 15? (and Aunt May was about 32 rather than 70)
