I know this has been asked and posted but nothing is ever very clear.
Also most of the post are locked now so I can not ask questions.

I have seen lots of talk about bards being able to aoe kite to 60 but I am at a loss as to where. I have heard BW can be ok for the next few lvls but I really do not like it to many hills.

So what zones can I aoe kite in including Velious at 53+? Are there any zones that have the kind of pulls we got in OT or DL ? Also what mobs in what zones are ok to kite? Any advice would be great thank you.

Lately I've seen alot of bards making 50+ climb in CoM.
Keep in mind tho prime time there are alot of Groups in there, and be sure to check with any other players in zone Before you pull and what is ok.
Also the 4 mob limit incase people decide you're hogging the mobs and wanna relieve you of some of them.

Saw a 50+ bard charm killing in bugs n bats in Sol B the other day, dunno really how viable that is but I remember bards used to charm kill alot more on live, just a thought something to try out maybe =)

AE kiting is not efficient past a certain point.. And honestly if by 53 you still aren't primarily grouping for your XP you should consider whether you actually enjoy playing a Bard at all.

Options are Wyverns in CS which are super camped, mobs in KC, mobs in CoM, and Burning woods.

Burning woods really is the best option though. Its hilly and crazy pulling, but it is the best option.

Honestly tho BW is probably fastest with exp change you get like 5% a pull at 59 and it rivals chardok

I have tried BW before and I am unsure if it was just camped or I am not looking in the right areas to kite but my groups are always small like 10-15 mobs. Anyone got some pointers as to where to pull? I know skellys wasp and gorillas but I just can not seem to find very many. Thanks for all the advice

Bit hard to know if you enjoy a toon when you went from Level 16 on April 25 to Level 53 in 11 days.

I have probably more play time on a bard than most people here. Duo mained a bard and monk on live pre kunark 1999 till gates of discord. But thats not relevant to the thread.

This zone has made me quit on every server I've ever played.

charm kiting is somewhat broken here

it still works but the way mobs assist is far less favorable then on live

i reported this long ago but bug wasn't adressed afaik

on live every mob on a certain faction will assist other mobs on that faction, on your pet, given that you only have proximity agro (not cast on / no throwing weaps etc)

here mobs don't automatically all assist their buddy on your pet, for some reason some but not all mobs gain PC prox agro which is higher then the amount of agro generated from a pet smashing another mob on their faction ..

sucks but what you gonna do right
