There are other reasons it is a bad idea.

There isn't a team set up that makes everyone happy, it is almost impossible to balance all available race/class combinations.

I think the differences are minor and the community could be happy with a final decision but that final decision would take a lot of thought.

There is no way devs are going to put in that much effort.

Even if Rogean was for some reason active and wanted to help make the community better I think a big change like this would feel like a loss of credibility for him. I disagree but I get the impression he would feel that way since he seems very resistant to changes, resets, wipes, etc.

Too easy for one side to be stacked, no grps for lowbies, no zone control areas/places to level.

On live you'd have zones that are mostly filled with certain teams, which brings fungi/epic twinks... but then you have people on your team that make them also and at least you have some back up.

Here all the fungi epic twinks just shit on the lowbies laugh about it in OOC then fight each other until they log off.

I could care less about end game it's usually one guild raiding with a few people fucking with them in a meaningless way (although dispelling slowed mobs on OOR lowbies seems to be the one thing nowadays that works)

Well asking for the server to be teams that is just sitting there idle right now is one thing, asking for them to change a current server to new rules is another.

If you want to campaign for something that will never happen start with opening the new server as a Red teams server.

There are a lot of good games out there. I think everquest is one of the best games but unfortunately I dunno things ain't right lately.

I'm thinking I want some full custom classic EQ that doesn't go to kunark but develops all of the quests and potential quest lines in classic eq more thoroughly. Like finishing befallen ++ a billion other classic world zones that are ghost towns on everquest even on blue 99 with 1k+ pop

High level game always sucked but being an emulator everyone is a psychopath that only wants to be "the best" and no one comes and plays casual the nice way anymore. That runlvlzero character used to play level 1-40 like back to back to back so i guess he knew what fun EQ was all about.

EQ is great and for what this server was it was incredibly fun at the start. Lots of us had fun here but that time has gone so now ya'll need to just move on. Just like with EQ Live, this server will never be what it once was. It's over pals - let it die with some dignity.
