Rusty Two Handed Sword

Issue: Quest reward turn in for giving 4 Lizard Meat to Soonog (Ogre SK GM) in Oggok results in a Rust Two Handed Sword as a reward. Sale of said Rusty Two Handed Sword(s) to all merchants (I've tried) results in 0g0s0c even though the merchant tells me he'll buy it for 2g7s9c.

After transaction, it says I received 2g7s9c but I receive no monetary compensation.

Ouch, was it only for that specific vendor? Does it do the same thing if you sell it to a different vendor? I would do a /petition in game to get a GM over to you while you try to sell them. Hopefully, they can at least give the gold for it, if it happens regardless if the vendor you sell it to.

Have you tried zoning to see if the coin appears in your inventory? I know there are trading bugs that show zero coin gained until you zone.

Added for note, I found a rusty two handed sword on a mob drop, same stats as the quest reward. When sold that offers no compensation either.

I wonder if it is bugged and is suppose to be a no trade item?

There seems to be a problem with a few items like this , the quest item given for handing in a Greater Light Stone to the gypsies is bugged like this also. When sold the Concordance of Research says it will give 9 pp 8 gold , but yields 0

Two people just mentioned not getting any coin from selling items in Greater Faydark.

bandit sash turn-in is bronze weapons near qeynos, same result...no money gained once sold even tho the transaction appears to have gone threw and the item was taken.
