So I came home to get my wisdom teeth out and I have little else to do but play some EQ while I recover. The catch is that I'm at my mom's house while I do. I am playing off my flash drive, but when I try to log in it gives the ol' 'IP has a temporary block on it' message.

With that being said, I've tried 3 accounts and it only lets me on one of them.

Any idea what's up? Any help would be appreciated :)

No one has had this problem before? Had GM help and still couldn't figure it out. I actually logged the account in this morning for a few minutes and assumed it was solved, and now it's doing it again.

Any help would be nice.

Thanks.

I am currently having this same issue after trying to solve another issue.

After logging in for the first time from my laptop I am unable to connect as it says there is a temporary block on my IP.

KT, try moving it from the flash to local storage.

After searching more I found "You are currently not allowed to login to the server because this IP has a temporary block on it. Please try again later.
Means that you attempted to log in multiple times from the same IP. Just wait a bit and it'll go away."

Sorry for not seeing this sooner!

On a side note... 2 hours is a bit excessive of a lock out for exiting, making a change, then coming back in... especially when there is so much you (I) can easily screw up here :)

What if I share a wifi router with my 2 sons so they can play... Will the temp lock block two computers out?

You need to request an IP exemption, with pertinent information, in the Petitions forum.

Yes, you would need an IP exception for all 3 accounts.
