Since implementing the "Endure Magic" Worn Effect, the helm is only giving 20 Magic Resist instead of the 30.

Seconded. The worn effect is set to 10 (presumably). When combined with the 10mr on the helm itself the total is 20 but should e 30

should be a simple fix - but it wrecks a BIS item until it is

Blue warrior epic gives too much ATK. Should only give +30

certain it's not related to the 10 STR on the weapon?

It gives +81 ATK when STR capped.

I suspect the problem there is that the weapon gives +30 ATK *and* has the focus effect (which probably gives ATK as well).
Some of this is the client which seems to overrate ATK though.

just the effect that gives + attack or the STR which he shown he was capped and shouldnt be getting additional attack from str over 255
that might be the error which is client side display bug - it could be calculating str above 255 cap

Isnt ATK also based off weapon skill? Is that toons H2H equivallent to 1hs?
Try swappimg it with a statless 1hs weapon instead of nothing.

ATK goes from 1329 --> 1409 switching Jaelen's Katana (1hs) in secondary with epic (1hs). Max stats on both.

bump - not sure how this didnt get a quick fix, it was acknowledged that Endure Magic is +20 MR by Nilbog here yet the Effect on the helm still only gives +10
Please fix one of the legendary quest rewards in this current expansion !

bump - can we just get the helm reverted to what it was when Velious was released namely having Magic Resistance listed as +30 and not having "Endure Magic" listed as a worn effect.
I understand our goal is classic emulation but in my opinion the items function should be of greater importance especially if the change itself is only cosmetic in the item description ( like the Ragebringer fix )
Rogue epics got changed to have haste percentage values, no reason why this can't be changed as well honestly.

please fix by removing the "endure magic" effect which is not properly the correct amount to the total magic resist and simply add the correct + 30 magic modifier to the item
function is more important than classic aesthetic

Not Classic.
This helm needs to keep it's Endure Magic effect, anything less would be a terrible bastardization of classic EQ. I'm sure they can work it to properly get 30 MR.

thanks for the bump - we both agree on one thing, there should be 30 magic resistance on the helm rewarded to the player for turning in King Tormax's head to Lord Yelinak with proper faction.

Curious, but is the effect set to take place at level 1 like other quest armour sets in velious? I wonder if it is having some sort of scaling effect if so (such as thinking a level 1 is trying to cast a spell above their level and causing issues). Perhaps test setting it to level 50 if so?
Probably wrong, just a thought.

In era evidence presented in this thread indicates that this mechanic is not working as intended and the White Dragon Helm should give the wearer more MR than it currently does.
This has been confirmed by Nilbog.
Here's a healthy bump for a work in progress. Any updates?

The bad part is is that it was completely fine on velious launch, just displayed incorrectly... (+30MR instead of +10MR with effect Resist Magic), until Xexbis pointed it out and Daldaen needed it displayed classically....

It would visually be near unnoticeable and perhaps be an easy fix as opposed to lots of programming work arounds?
While regular Endure Magic appears to be a static +20 MR, it would seem the level requirement of the spell is causing the issue? (Since the worn effect seems to treat you add if you are level 1?)
