I'm a little late to introductions as I started playing a couple weeks ago. I started a Dwarf Warrior named Thregah.
I must say it's incredibly refreshing to be playing with a community of people who have a genuine love for the original EQ. Since starting I've encountered almost nothing but positive and supportive players willing to help out a newbie (though their generosity has me a tad twinked out, which I'm by no means complaining about).
It has been awesome going back to a game that pushes players to do something that they don't even realize is one thing missing from MMOs today, and that is relying on one another to progress, create friendships, and actually socialize with other players.
Thanks to everyone who's helped me, and thanks to all the volunteers helping to make this classic experience possible, you're all awesome.
I've begun to become an avid streamer of EQ, as it attracts respectful and well meaning viewers whom I've come to really enjoying having in my channel. It's also been fun to connect with and watch other EQ streamers, I'm looking forward to contributing to this awesome community!
