Hey, this is my first time playing EverQuest ever, so I am a total noob at this game.

I have a question though, how do I download this game? Do I just download EverQuest or is there a download link on this website?

Thanks. :D

When you can, read through the getting started guide. There are no downloads. You have to have specifically Everquest Titanium. You must already own or know of a way of acquiring the discs. There are some for sale on Ebay. The popularity of p99 has caused the prices to skyrocket however. To my knowledge, there are no digital downloads of EQ Titanium.

It would be incorrect to say that there downloads. You need the Project 1999 (V41) (http://www.project1999.com/files/P99Files41.zip) package to play EverQuest, and installing WinEQ2 is also advisable/necessary for some players. Though these can theoretically be acquired by means other than downloads, the primary method of acquiring them is directly through the Internet.

These are needed in addition to the EverQuest Titanium client however, which is the hardest component to come by. EverQuest Titanium is no longer being produced or sold as a retail product, physically or digitally. EverQuest Titanium discs are available through the secondary market through services like eBay as has been mentioned; you might also on Amazon or anywhere secondhand software is sold.

Also, as a preemptive reminder: we're limited in what can be discussed on this forum (www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=192188) regarding acquisition of the EverQuest Titanium client.

Looked at Titanium prices on Ebay, holy crap!

While it is very much a long-shot, you could also take a trip to your local Gamestop to see if they have any used ones left, but knowing them, they might be selling it for $100 too after giving the poor sap who traded it $5 towards his purchase.

Can't remember if Titanium required keys or not, if they did Gamestop probably won't have it.

There are torrents as well... since the game is free to play at daybreak, i think nobody minds.

WhIle Daybreak might give their blessings, I believe torrenting is still illegal to advise.

Illegal, just like downloading music off Napster was illegal.

Just go to pirate bay, get EQ Titanium, and enjoy.

Literally no one cares.

Its only illegal if you never owned the item you are downloading. By law you are allowed to have backup copies of anything you own doesnt matter how you get them. Unlike OP though most people had played EQ before therefore had paid for it and are allowed to have copies of it anyway they way. Thats what ive always found funny about not allowing it to be talked about here. BUt since EQ is F2P anyway i still dont see a issue with it.
