Helm of the Tracker?

Can anyone confirm that you absolutely must be lvl 55 to receive this item? The quest on the wiki says so but I've had a number of folks claim that you do not have to be 55.

I've spent wayyyyyy too much time camping the overseer to have the thing poof on me lol....

Are you far off? I want to say that there's no quests in game that actually have a level check. Epics for example could be quested at Lv1 if you had the proper items. I assume they are the same way atm, but you can't equip until 46? now.

Then again, I don't know if this is true or not for your quest in specific.

My ranger is 52 atm, about halfway through...So not a huge wait I spose, but yeah lol. I'll probably end up just waiting as I don't have another 3 weeks to farm that giant hehe. Was just hoping someone could definitively confirm one way or the other =)

I remember the sk lv49 quest spell csn only be started at 50... unless I am wrong about that. Example of level restrictions.

the helm is ave, but has plate gfx....see invis is useful utility

I'm going to assume if you speak with the quest giver & are offered the quest then you can complete the quest with the items.

Confirmed the helm quest works on a 52 ranger. Tunarean Earthmelder considered as amiably and all quest text was given. The minimum is probably 46, since the ranger needs to be able to zone into PoG.
