Is it possible to make an iksar non-KoS in either grobb, oggok, or neriak? I'm looking to bring my iksar shaman to the mainland and would like to eventually be able bank, sell, and buy spells somewhere. Any iksar pros have tips to raising ogre or troll faction, or even DE faction? Any insight is appreciated! Thanks!

Kill orcs in High Hold Pass. Bank in High Hold Keep.

Wine quest in Neriak 3rd gate ^^
Neriak is very difficult if you ever plan on going past the foreign quarter. Grobb or Oggok would probably be a better idea. Highpass Hold/Keep are also good ideas.
Being an iksar, you will need to find mobs that give the right positive faction hits and none of the wrong negative ones and then proceed to kill at least 650 of those mobs (or do 650+ turn ins) to reach either dubious or apprehensive, depending on faction modifiers.

I did a quest on my iksar necro where I took rations (a shitload, like 20 stacks or more) to someone in Qeynos which gave me faction with Freeport merchants. Long story short the merchants love me (guards don't)
May not be useful to you OP but it's an option

if you dont sneak, you can get away with starting the good side quests in wolf form from a friendly druid
wine quest in neriak, bone chips in qeynos, bonechips in kaladim, bandages in rivervale, bat wings/black wolf hides in felwithe, farm goblins in warsliks wood (for fv) tag lucan d'lere when a pally is doing his epic a couple times, berzerker whips in OT (if you can sneak, have a druid or ranger harmony all the mobs around the whips guy and sneak behind him to turn them in)
with only these, you can bank anywhere in nw antonica, two places in faydwer, and any bank in kunark.

Red wine will get you non KoS to everyone besides rogues and sk / necro factions in neriak. Farm enough gnomes in LFay and the sk / necros will like too.

Hi there,
Highpass banking is easiest to get on Antonica for Iksars. Kill tons of Orcs and Gnolls in Highpass for that. Check these links for more info:

buy an amulet of necropotence
it removes racial faction modifiers

As long as you do not die easy (or have FD or can invis), you can bank anywhere as bankers are not on factions.
but some are guarded.
Like in HHK you can have no faction (on any race) and still bank , also you can still sale at the merchant there in the back room on the first floor coming in. HHK is one of the few that also has a merchant that will pay you fair (not shady merchant) that does not require faction. And is safe in the merchants room. Erudite merchant i believe.
No need for HHK faction really. Can bank and sale even with no faction. The only thing to worry about would be the Captain that roams near the bank but if level 30+ he really doesn't hurt that bad and can bank and get out in time.

Right now, as an Iksar Shaman you can't do much in terms of Oggok and Grobb, and the only guild outside of Cabilis you can faction to use is the one in Halas - which isn't much more convenient than going home, really.
The quest that would raise your faction with the Dark Ones requires you to be non-KOS and wolf form does not help from what I've been told. In addition, you have at least one Dark One hanging outside the Grobb bank, as many poor baby Ogre Shamen of War have learned the hard way.
The quests that would raise your faction with the Shamen of War ALSO require you to be non-KOS already although I am not sure how they react to wolf form - I would imagine not any better.
Halas
You can repeatedly kill Giz Dinree (Dark elf Rogue level 14) who spawns at night off the coast in East Freeport over and over and over again to raise your faction with Wolves of the North until you are dubious, then gather many many gnoll fangs in Blackburrow and hand in the x3 per turn in to raise Merchants of Halas, Wolves of the North (further) and Shamen of Justice. This will also raise your faction with the Steel Warriors of Qeynos and Freeport. You will still be KOS to the Rogues of the White Rose, which includes the banker. Right now, you can still kill guards, some merchants, Frostbite in WK or the 2 sled dogs in Halas to raise Rogues of the White Rose but these hits should be removed next patch as they were removed by Verant/SOE at this point in the timeline, along with the negative Rogue hits that Warriors/Shamen got from doing their newbie quests. It took me 3 weeks of camping the 2 sled dogs to reach max Ally with Rogues of the White Rose and I started at Apprehensive. Aside from that the quests to raise Rogues requires you to be non-KOS and possibly Amiable or better.
Neriak
As said above, the red wine quest makes breaking into Neriak very easy - for the basic Dreadguard Inner/Outer and Dark Bargainers. If you are quick, clever, have a Necromancer friend that can nuke you into a skeleton in a duel and you can survive the hit you can raise Priests of Innoruuk in the 3rd gate from turning in the letters of recommendation from either Grobb (not likely for you) or East Freeport sewers (you'll need skeleton form to get the note as well). The hit is intentionally massive as it brings Troll/Human Shaman/Clerics of Innoruuk from dubious to high enough faction that will allow them to do their Innoruuk questlines. I very easily maxed Priests of Innoruuk with this. If you want to raise any other Priest/Cleric faction do this one first, since it hurts all others.
As reported above you can kill 2 of the gnomes in Lesser Faydark to raise your standing with The Dead (though the Neriak Ghouls will always be KOS) and if you're strong enough Dragoon Szorn will give a massive hit as well (though it will hurt your faction with Indigo Brotherhood.) The I.B. do not wander outside their guild in the Commons Quarter so you probably won't concern yourself with them, the same goes for The Spurned but there is a roaming wizard - Razran F`Lok - who is a member of The Dead that paths near the entrance to 3rd Gate and one of the bank entrances, so you'll want to raise that faction, probably.
Highpass Hold
Killing orcs/gnolls will only raise your faction with the Highpass Guards and Kithicor/Karana Residents/Bandits... not the Merchants of Highpass. You'll need to gather scalps and get a wolf form to turn them in to raise the Merchants faction.
Qeynos
Right now, I believe Iksars are STARTING Apprehensively to the Bloodsabers guild in the Qeynos Aqueducts and there is even a bank down there, but beware as there are other NPCs that roam down there who are not friendly - beggars, bums, and members of the Circles of Unseen Hands. Currently, South Qeynos is broken and evils will die their regardless of their faction work, but after the patch it should be fixed and the bankers there should be indifferent to all by default (Banker faction.)
Rivervale
Hand in bandages (purchased from vendors!) to raise your faction with Guardians of the Vale, Deep Pockets, Merchants of Rivervale, and Mayor Gubbin. You will need to kill many, MANY Goblins in Runnyeye Citadel/Misty Thicket to raise Storm Reapers, however, and there is at least one roamer on there in Rivervale. Also, Thekeela Meepup hangs outside the near the Kithicor zoneline and is on Priests of Mischief which you cannot raise and she's level 61...
If you have questions or want to know about more factions, feel free to message me in-game.

Faction work is a waste of time if you have invis. You can sell to vendor in WFP in the tunnels and bank in NFP using invis, among other places.
If you want a "home base" in Classic, then Neriak is the easiest because a simple quest will make you non kos outside of the 3rd gate which you have no reason to go to anyways.
Don't do faction work for banking/selling. If you want to do it, do it because it's fun to you.

This isn't true, unfortunately. I've had the Highkeep banker attack my ogres before. I remember being surprised at the time, but it happens.
That having been said, you can right-click on them to bank even if they're glaring/scowling. But they will attack. Just FD if you have that ability.

I was going to type out a bunch of stuff on how I got my Iksar monk able to walk around the vast majority of Freeport, but then I realized it's all right here:
http://wiki.project1999.com/Faction
At this point I am apprehensive to the monks in FP and Qeynos, warmly to North Freeport, amiable to Qeynos guards, so even if they fix the problem where people who are dubious can train, I'll be golden. I've killed a LOT of god damned orc pawns and gnolls.
Soon I'll start on Neriak...

Felwithe, Kelethin, Freeport and Grobb bankers can all be accessed using nothing but invis and F9 to move the camera around a corner. If you need a demonstration hit me up here or in-game and I'll be happy to help you out.
If, however, you're trying to just chill in goodly cities, Here is a decent guide from the perspective of an Iksar (http://mentalized.net/journal/2003/07/30/the-iksar-handbook-of-infiltration/). Good luck!

Add Cabilis to that, at the right side wall as you look into the bank.
Also Neriak, at the door to the banker's right (not the one he's facing).
Actually also Overthere, clicking on the right section of the wall behind where the bankers are standing... literally spam clicking til you hit the banker.

if you do the brandy quest in qeynos (you will need wolf form), you will raise faction with the freeport bankers and north freeport merchants but become kos to rogues

You shouldn't need wolf form. Invis into the building, and quest giver is a merchant, so default dubious.
you can bank anywhere as bankers are not on factions.
Not quite correct.
Paineel bankers will attack if your faction is low enough, and they hit hard. I don't know what the case is with more popular bankers but the rule of thumb would be to cautiously /con behind a wall.

You can bank anywhere, but not because bankers aren't necessarily on factions, rather bankers will allow you to use their services even as they beat you to death.

Seems like Paineel is on one faction (aside from guild trainers), cast benevolence and you'll see the difference on everything else.

I think you can still bank with KoS bankers - just need to be out of LoS.
I totally forgot, you can LoS them and click them to use their services - it's done all the time in FP.

You don't even need to be out of sight, you can bank while they are attacking you.

If you want to improve Oggok faction you can get the warrior faction by killing dwarfs in butcher block. I'm not certain for grobb, but I'd assume these factions may be a pain to raise. I have seen my share of evil races who faction killing crush bone or death first orcs, or gnolls for qeynos! Goblins for halflings. And let's not forget you can go to the warrens for paineel and Erudin factions. Personally I play a troll who is kos to most cities, and I prefer being kos to more places since you can kill more things without worrying it will ruin something. High hold pass gnolls gives some decent human factions too.
