I just remember laser trip wires and throwing nuclear hand grenades at skyscrapers in Syndicate Wars... Always wanted to play that again.

I straight up hate this game's color palette. Way too many bright colors on textureless buildings etc. Can appreciate the minimalistic look, but that's gonna annoy me. Should be grey / dark with weird Japanese shit to add color. Besides that... Looks incredibly fun.

As great as it was (at the time) I don't think I would be captivated by it for more than a couple of hours, today... Whenever I try to revisit an old game (that isn't EQ) it doesn't seem to hold up.

Agreed, the only exception to that rule is Sid Meier's Pirates ;)
