When i try to launch both the batch file or the eqgame shortcut i get these two errors

Late reply but are you using the correct .exe to connect?

Did you install into your program files and do you have the latest patch?

You shouldn't be using the exe file, always use the launch.bat file.

Uninstall and start over.

You prolly patched to the live servers and grab something that is returning an application error

im getting this exact same error. have not been able to play since i logged out 3 days ago.

So yesterday I loaded my flash drive into this comp to make sure it worked before I took it to my g/fs house to install on her pc. It worked here, I took it there and copied it over and it worked there. I came back to this one today plugged n the drive and get a crashing error while trying to connect to the server. Nothing has changed and the USB troubleshoot doesn't see anything wrong with the flash disk. Anyone got any ideas?

Any kind of interruption of either the network or the flash drive, the program will crash. I was able to play from a flash drive for a couple of days before the crashing started happening to me.

The general fix for any application error crash is just to reinstall to your Program Files(X86) Folder and hope for the best.

A Fresh install btw, not moving anything over from the folder that was having issues. So you would have to rebuild macros and such.

I found a fix for my own issue, it seems Windows 10 attaches a debugger when it has updates pending. A simple restart of my laptop fixed this issue.

what kind of updates ? windows updates ? cuz iirc there where none queued when i had the problem , after the 4th reinstal + a couple of reboots inbetween i finaly managed to get back in but never was there a restart + update available when i checked the powermenu

Micro$oft turned on Xbox recording integration apparently. P99 thinks it is a debugger.

I fixed this be disabling my anti virus, after reinstalling twice. that worked.

if you guys are running AVG anti-virus, that is the issue, need to make a exception in AVG for your EQ folder.
