Wondering if there are any gun collectors/hunters/etc? I started doing gun reviews, beginning with the mossberg tactical 22.

You can check out some of the vids here.

No it is my brother actually, I was filming. He is big guy lol.

He has a ton of guns though, just got him into doing some reviews on them.

Yamaha do you go to the range?

You should review the Ruger 10/22 with tech sights.

I have done some bird hunting.. Just shotgun stuff. I prefer a remington 1100 with a 28-30 inch barrel and a full choke for distance on geese.. not much use vs teal or bufflehead tho unless yer a crack shot or extremely lucky :D

I'm not a huge hunter or anything - just enjoy shooting. Currently I only have a 1911 and a Sig 556. Next purchase will probably be a large bore bolt action rifle of some sort. Really want something like a .338 Lapua, but will probably end up snagging a Rem 700 in 300 win mag or something.

Reviews aren't really my thing, but I cannot recommend quality 1911's more highly. Such a superbly crafted firearm. I also am a big fan of the Sig in terms of hobbyist shooting, however, it's a bit bulky and cumbersome for my taste in any sort of tactical scenario. Honestly, I'd probably take a regular old M4 over a 556 just because it is ~2-3 lbs lighter and much simpler to field strip/clean (although you don't have to clean the 556 as often, which is a plus). In really dusty situations, the 556 is definitely a more reliable weapon though. So yea, a lot of trade offs between the two. I'm on the verge of writing a full on comparison so I'll just stop.

I miss duck hunting man. I used to live in PA and that's pretty much what I looked forward to every hunting season. I have a female Bufflehead mounted around where somewhere. I really want to get Goldeneye and American Merganzer some day in the future.

As far as favorite guns I'm more of a pump action shotgun and bolt action rifle type of guy. I'm not big into automatic or semi auto. I picked up a remington .308 about a year ago but I haven't even put a round through it yet.

I order a rock river arms LAR 8 with a 26' bull barrel Oct 29th; I'm still waitin for it to come in.

I bought an SKS yesterday. I wasn't planning on getting anything, but I had wanted one for a while and happen to come across one at a really good price.

I have an FN FiveseveN, Mossberg 500, Ruger 22 magnum rifle, a Czek 30-06 from the 50's, Sig P220, 2xS&W .357s. and an old .22 semi rifle I got for my B-day when I turned 13.

I'll try to post some pics.

dooo it, sounds like a decent collection.

I had an okay armory and used to hunt occasionally, but I've downsized to a Remington 870 and my glock 27 carry. Gotta find a good home for the 870 soon too as I prep to become a bum. My range days are done for now.

I'm considering dropping the glock for a smaller-caliber pistol for weight savings and to make pistol hunting a little more practical when I'm bumming. I wish there was a place to try out .22 derringers and other goofy ultralight shit near me.
