it's amazing what my pep talk did for the resistance. I am responsible for all the YT's your boys got tonight in west wastes, DN and other ganks during our raid. I can only imagine all the gains the resistance/friends would be making if I was leading it and playing for it full-time. I changed the mindset of your whole guild and taught them more in 15 minutes than you have in your whole career.

great post, and i've been telling people the past two days on red have been maybe the most fun since velious came out. Whatever you say about Exed, atleast he brings some PvP. He'll start a fight knowing he'll lose, or maybe he believes he can win, but he goes out looking with a crew. With the windstriker he'll be out and about all day which is something the server needs, active pvpers. Been alot of pvp the past two days, especially after my pep talk i gave Friends and CS.

For a long time I told them how lucky they were to not be in Empire, because they get all of the benefits of not being in the zerg. They get all the fun in attacking the massive amounts of warm bodies in one zone. I explained to these people when to attack our raids in outdoor zones, how to disrupt ring wars, rack up countless kills on our klandicar attempts etc. I gave them just a couple of my ideas and look what happened. The next day a group of Friends is messing with us on Klandicar and they get like 30+ kills in one night as a result. They were mostly naked kills, but these people all claimed it was some of the most fun they've ever had on red. After this they came and messed with our Ring War event.

why does it take the biggest bluebie you'll ever meet to explain how fun it would be to attack Empire raids? Why do I literally have to explain how easy it is to get kills and have fun disrupting our raids for them to realize it and actually do it?

Side note: Scum has been porting / camping / running away from pvp on the regular now. The reason pvp gets "zerged" down is cause there is so little. People be watching leaderboard and see Yt's popping off and start showing up. IE: Last night at GD/EW i was literally sitting at character select watching Archer saw YT on ldr board and was able to log in to come pvp cause my ranger was camped at thurg.

I hope scum starts pvping more now since they have a Windstriker, it will help... maybe... probably not.

the TL boxes are great, but they need to go for sure. Maybe i am remembering wrong, but Eventually it was done away with and you could not take them while in combat, or they had a much shorter(1 minute?) duration. Don't even remember how it flagged you as in combat.

The TL box pvp is quite hilarious though with how fast they can come back at you despite getting raptured or whatever, TL and they are back within a minute. Makes rebinding a helluva time. But I don't think it will last forever, I am sure there are more ways to counter it a bit easier even with a free ticket click home.

also Jazzy you must have never fought any of the friends wizards yet, or whoever they are with. Gzaz/Latergater and whoever else those people were in WW probably took 5-6 TL boxes each monday while attacking on klandicar. Funny considering riding has over 100 killshots as a lvl 60 ranger and he almost always is solo pvping or duo.

Gardur somehow seems amazed that a group with a bard and windstriker running around are actually killing people. Would think you realized by now, windstriker + bard in a kill group IS the win. Add an enchanter to the mix for rapture and strip and its just game over. We don't want to see screenshots of you with a WS ranger, bard, rogue and wizard zipping around killing people 6v1.

Ragnaros put it simple enough, Windstriker rangers don't kill people. They line up the kill by locking a target down so damage can be done

(no root, rapture, tstaff, snare, windstriker 1v1 pvp with both sowed or jboot melee is pretty boring, add a fungi in and people can joust back and forth for minutes minus SK lifetap/insta 1k dmg) Velious content put more 100hp items out, higher AC limits, better buffs. The days of 18 second tstaff procs, and basically 99% guaranteed tstaff/windstriker proc kill are GONE. In kunark era with good hits and innerflame it was possible with a max duration 6 sec proc to almost insta kill casters, or low hp people post nerf. But people with 100hp in a few extra slots, or all slots, will never happen.

Strut's tactics and current members willingness to engage is certainly making the resistance fun. We may not be stopping much, but it feels good just to be trying.
