Melee weapon for newbie shaman

Hi, all. I just started to play a troll shaman. I am lv 7 now and still using the starting weapon - club. Any suggestion for a better weapon for me as I melee a lot, but I only have 50pp now. Thanks

You may be able to find a super cheap ogre war maul/mace around in ec for 20 plat, but I would recommend attempting to save up closer to 150-200 plat to buy a springwood club, there arent a lot of viable options cheaper than that, that i know of, and that weapon can last you a long time, decent ratio, and stats for shm.

You can save that up easily either selling cb belts or df belts if possible, or maybe bone chips if near kurns, since you can just do that while leveling.

I would save up but if you need to get something now and inexpensive, you can probably find a Wraith Bone Hammer. For the past few days, I've seen it being sold from 50-75pp. You may want to keep an eye out for someone trying to sell a Charred Guardian Shield [+9 WIS, AC 10] which I've seen being sold from 200-300pp. You may also find a cheap Journeyman's Walking Stick under 200pp.

Personally I would look for a piercing weapon. There are lots of relatively cheap piercers. This might be pretty good for the price range.

To be honest though unless you want to spend a lot of time in E.C. tunnel I would just take the first magic weapon you can use and get back to killing. Other options are to just say you are looking for a cheap magic weapon for a shaman and see if anyone responds (just check their price before buying). You can waste a bunch of time in E.C. looking for something specific

Wraith bone hammer is always good. /auction in the zone you are killing in too, you don't have to go to ec to buy lowbie gear.

Your shammy Epic is Piercing weapon, if I recall correctly, so you might want to find a good newbie piercer so yor skills will be topped when you get your Epic.

I've been carrying a one-handed blunt and a one-handed spear so I work on both weapon skills. I swap every 5 points earned.

Dont forget to practice 2hb, the Runewood staff is a good one
