I've got everything installed, files replaced, no dice. I get the client up and then it gives me an error. Any tips?

My guess is you installed to the default directory. Look through tech forum....tons of threads on this issue.

1) Find your install folder and then locate the "eqgame.exe" file
2) Right click on the file and select "Create shortcut"
3) Find the "eqgame.exe - Shortcut" file and right click on it and select "Properties"
4) In the "Target" text box after all the text (after any quotes if there are any) insert a space and then "patchme" (don't include the quotes)
5) In the same screen click on the "Compatibility" tab
6) In the "Compatibility mode" section check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" check box and then find the "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" option in the drop down and select it.
7) On that same tab under the "Settings" section check the "Run this program as an administrator" box then click the apply button and after that the ok button.
8) Now only use this shortcut to start the game

If that doesn't work you can try other compatibility modes but from personal experience (I'm also running windows 10) this worked just fine. Note that I did put the Everquest folder in the root of my main drive first but I don't think that should matter (C:\EverQuest is where I put mine).

Right click EQ shortcut, properties, Check the run it is 640x resolution and as Admin and in service pack. Once in game you can change your resolution. And as always, run it in window mode native to your resolution.

If all else fails, install WinEQ2 lite. It's legal here and resolves a lot of issues, including memory error issues. Follow direction to set it up, I believe they are included, or on the website.

Is WinEQ2 an manager & installer for EQ Titanium?

Is WinEQ2 an manager & installer for EQ Titanium? No, it's... like a shell to run it in. You install titanium first. Then install WinEQ2 and point it to your EQ exe file. Then you run WinEQ2 and launch EQ thru it. I've been using it for like 10yrs. Lots of people use it here. It's mostly eliminated crashes, though a few in recent months with some zoning, but never once in the zone.
